What you get.
Every component in the build, what it does and why it is in there. There are two builds. They share the same motion platform, the same steering and the same computer. What changes is the cockpit around them.
The Reference Build
The machine in the videos, specced end to end.
$63,999
The Core Build
The same motion platform, with a simpler cockpit around it.
$57,999
The Reference Build
This is the machine in the videos, not a representative example of one.
Motion

Qubic System QS-V20
Everything else in the build bolts to this. It reads the car's physics out of the sim and moves the whole cockpit with them, so a kerb, a crest and the back end stepping out are things you feel through the seat before you see them on screen. It is the reason the rig is installed rather than shipped in a box. Both builds use the same platform.

Qubic System QS-BT1
A motion platform can lean you into a stop but it cannot push you into the belts. This pulls the harness tight against your chest under braking and releases as you come off the pedal, which is what turns a brake zone from a number on a display into something your body is bracing against.
Steering

Simucube 2 Pro + Simucube GT Valo
Direct drive means the motor is the steering shaft, with no belts or gears in between to blur what the front tyres are doing. You feel the fronts load up, and you feel the moment they stop gripping. The GT Valo wheel comes with it.
Pedals

Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate ×2 + Co-Pedal
Two active pedals and a passive clutch. Active means the pedal pushes back the way a real one does and can be retuned per car rather than per rig, so a car with a hard brake and a car with a long soft one feel like two different cars under your foot. Here both the brake and the throttle are active, so you feel the throttle load as well as the brake.
Shifter

HyperShift AW
One unit that covers both gearbox types, so an H-pattern car and a sequential car do not need two shifters bolted to the rig or a swap between sessions.
Cockpit

Next Level Racing ES1 Hyper Cool
The seat is ventilated, which matters more than it sounds once the platform is working and you are an hour into a stint. It comes with a Schroth harness and a HANS Pro Ultra Lite head restraint. Belted in, you brace against the harness instead of the seat, so the platform's inputs land on your body rather than shifting you around. It also gives the belt tensioner something to pull against under braking.
Visuals

Bigscreen Beyond 2e
VR is what puts your head inside the car and lets you look through a corner instead of at it. If you would rather drive on screens, triple ultrawides are an option on the build.
Audio

Logitech 2.1 audio
Speakers and a subwoofer. The low end is doing real work here: engine load and tyre noise are how you hear the car reaching its limit, and headphones under a VR headset get old fast.
Computer
Core Ultra 9 285K + RTX 5080
Specced for high-refresh VR, which is the hardest thing you can ask a sim machine to do. Built, configured and updated before it reaches you, with the sims installed and the hardware already talking to each other.
The Core Build
At $57,999. Everything above carries over unchanged except the items below. The motion platform, the direct-drive steering, the shifter, the visuals, the audio and the computer are the same parts in both builds.
Motion
Qubic System QS-BT1
Not fitted on The Core Build. On The Reference Build it does this: Tensions the harness under braking, so deceleration is something you feel, not read.
Pedals
Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate ×2 + Co-Pedal
Simucube ActivePedal Pro + Co-Pedal ×2
One active pedal and two passive ones. The brake is the active pedal, so it pushes back the way a real one does and retunes per car, which is where most of the lap time lives. The throttle and clutch are Co-Pedals, which are passive: they have a fixed feel rather than one that changes with the car. Against the Reference Build you are giving up the active throttle and keeping the active brake.
Cockpit
Next Level Racing ES1 Hyper Cool
The same ventilated racing seat as the Reference Build, which matters more than it sounds once you are an hour into a stint. This build does not include the Schroth harness or the HANS Pro Ultra Lite head restraint, and without a harness there is nothing for a belt tensioner to pull against, so that is not fitted either.
What the install covers
The price is the machine working in your room, not a pallet on your driveway. Delivery, assembly and setup are included on both builds.
Delivery and assembly
We bring the rig to you and build it in the room it lives in.
Motion calibration and tuning
The platform is calibrated to the room and tuned to the driver, not left on a default profile.
Sims installed and configured
Titles installed, hardware profiles set up, everything talking to each other before we leave.
Handover session
We put you in the seat and walk you through running it, so the first time you drive it is not alone.
Lead time
14 days from cleared payment to a rig you can drive. We book the install date with you once the order is placed.
2-year workmanship warranty
Covers our install and integration work. It does not cover the hardware itself, which carries its own manufacturer warranty. If something we did comes loose, goes out of calibration or stops talking to the rest of the rig, we come back and fix it.
What is not included
- Sales tax, which is calculated at checkout on your address.
- Electrical or structural work on the room. The rig plugs into standard household power, but we do not run new circuits.
- Sim titles and subscriptions that need your own account or licence.
- Ongoing internet, and any service that depends on it.
Ways to change it
The build flexes to your room, your sims and your budget. These are the two most common changes.
Triple ultrawides instead of VR
Three LG 45in OLED ultrawides on a freestanding stand replace the Bigscreen Beyond 2e. Everything else in the build is unchanged.
See the buildMotion for the rig you already own
If you have a cockpit you like, the Qubic platform can go under it instead of buying a whole new machine.
